yoga teacher training

200h Yoga Teacher Training. The Five Elements Path.

2021 DATES

4th to 25th of July

*Online part to be done from home: 6th to 27th of June

(Las Palmas de Gran Canaria)

In this 200h Yoga Teacher Training we study the healing power of the body through the nature of the 5 elements.  The five elements dance within us as the expression of Nature that we are. Yoga gives us the opportunity to balance them and thus connect with the essential, the pure, the instinctive. Practicing and teaching with the five elements through yoga not only connects us to Nature but provides us with an organic way of balance our body, mind and soul from the inside and out. Moving the Nature that we are made of is what allows our essence to find the way to express itself.

The five elements are present in this Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training through a base sequence which is provided to the students. We apply concepts of physical and energetic anatomy, Ayurveda and Chinese medicine for the complete understanding of the sequence to be learned. An Astrology Fundamentals workshop will be held to know the basics of how to balance the yoga practice with the planets and the stars.

Daily activities based on body expression, meditations and coaching techniques are held with the aim of opening new paths for the students to reconnect with themselves and find what’s unique in them. All the tools that will be put into practice will be provided in an understandable way so that everyone can use them in their lessons and in their daily life. Some of the practices and meditations take place in Nature to recharge and feel in depth the element with which we work.

We want this teacher training to be a journey. Even if you don’t feel like teaching, the tools and transformation you will get from are a live lasting gift to yourself.

Right before the start of your first week of the yoga teacher training in Las Palmas, you will need to do 40h of theory online. Check below for more info.

We don’t want the money to be what stops you to join us. So we can talk about ways to divide the payments before the start of the training that can be feasible for you.

200H Yoga Teacher Training

A Yoga Teacher Training that will transform your life and allow you teach yoga worldwide.

Yoga teacher training content and schedule

Which are the objectives?

  1. Provide a space for self-transformation.
  2. Create a unique experience through deepening into the knowledge and practice of yoga.
  3. Show the healing power tools of the five elements and nurture the capacity of each person to transmit them.
  4. Facilitate activities to encourage the students to find their real essence and reconnect with their personal power.
  5. Train conscious, connected and unique yoga teachers.
  6. Suggest to the students a starting point from where to start exploring how to teach from their heart and essence.
  7. Create a community where love thrives and everyone can find support and opportunity.
  8. Increase the number of  people feeling that they belong to the Earth.

How is the online part organized?

It will include 40h of the 200h, in which the Anatomy and very short part of the Philosophy will be explained. In my teacher training I realized that this part of the content don’t need to be done seating down in the yoga studio while this precious time could be used to practice and self transformation.
For the online part, we will use Zoom, a very easy app that will allow us to meet with all of the students (like in Skype) and work on the content from home. So we can guarantee that we take the maximum advantage of your time in Las Palmas.
The online part will not be done daily, so that you can easily combine it with your daily life. We’ve thought about the following schedule, but we are open to talk if any of you would like to make small changes.
11th of April to the 27th of June
Friday 11th: Welcome meeting at 19:00h
Saturdays (3): 10h to 14h
Sundays (3): 16h to 20h
Tuesdays (2): 19h to 21h
Thursdays (2): 19h to 21h
Also, we will send you two 10 minutes videos with two different parts of the sequence that will be learned during the training (one for the water element and another one for the fire element) Your compromise during this three online weeks would be to practice these parts of the sequence 6 days a week, one the first 10 days and the other one the last 10 days, 10 minutes every day, so that you can start building up your sadhana.
The online part of the training needs to be done right before the week when you decide to join us in Las Palmas. During all of this online part you could count on our help and assistance, of course!

Is the 200h See Yoga Teacher Training a Yoga Alliance Certified Program?

How much experience in yoga do I need to apply?

We don’t expect you to be a master in Yoga. A minimum of 6 months of practice is required, but the most important part of it is to be eager to learn.

Can I join the teacher training even if I don’t want to become a teacher?

Absolutely! All practitioners who simply want to deepen more into their yoga practice and experience a beautiful personal transformation, are more than welcome. In that case, the student can choose weather if she or he wants to do the final exam or not.

If I have an injury or disability and can’t do all the asanas, can I join to this teacher training?

Sure! You don’t need to do all the asanas to join this training. You are welcome just as you are. But it would be good to talk about it in the interview previous to the training to see if that’s the most convenient to you and how you can take the best out of your experience.

How can I pay?

When you sign in at the All You Can Yoga website or contact directly See Yoga, you will be informed about the See Yoga company bank details so that you can make the first part of the payment (50% of the total price). Only then, your place in our teacher training will be booked. The other 50% of the payment you can transfer it anytime before one week of the start of the teacher training (the online part).

Where is it taking place?

This Yoga Teacher Training is taking place in the neighborhood of Las Canteras, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain). Las Palmas is a welcoming and charming city located in front of an amazing beach with an urban kind of atmosphere. How can I get to Las Palmas?

The airport flying to Gran Canaria is called Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (LPA). There are a lot of different airlines flying from every European airport. The airport is like half an hour drive from us, so you could either take a bus (L60) or a taxi (which costs around 35€)

Are food and accommodation included in the price?

None of them are included. There are a lot of different cheap and healthy restaurant options where to eat in the neighborhood and of course you can also bring food to eat in your lunch time. Even if we don’t include the accommodation in the price, we will assist you to find a good one that suits you when you book your place with us.

Are books and materials included in the price?

The See Yoga/AYCY Manuals are included in the price, except the Anatomy Manual and the Essencial Asana Manual.  The books are not included either.

How will the online three weeks organized?

The online work will include 50 learning hours, so most of it will happen in Las Palmas. It will be divided in six theory sessions of 4 hours each on the weekends and four more sessions of 2 hours each two evenings a week. We will use zoom to meet all the participants and promote an active way of learning. Also, you will need to start building up your sadhana every morning (15 minutes practice). We will also help you with it while proposing you a short sequence to be practiced.

Is there homework and required reading?

There will be required reading and homework during the online part of the  training. Throughout the training in Las Palmas there will be no homework more than reviewing everything to get ready for the final exam. We understand that the days are already long and the students will need to rest.

What if I need to miss a day or session?

The student then commits to catch up with the content studied and set an extra private 1h retrieve session with the leader of the teacher training. The cost will be of 50€ (covering 4 learning hours) and some tasks about it will need to be done. The schedule will be agreed with the leader of the training.

Cancellation policy:

If  you want to cancel 30 days before the start of the program, we will refund you with a 70% of what you’ve payed.

There will be no refunds for the cancellations made with less than 30 days before the start of the teacher training. If you wish you will be able to use 50% of the payment for another teacher training.  See Yoga doesn’t commit to open new training dates.

The teacher training will be held with a minimum of 4 students. Otherwise, the whole payment of the training will be refunded 15 days before it starts.

In that case, See Yoga will not assume any additional expense such as accommodation, flights or transfers.

90% of the assistance is required. If you need to miss a session, it can be retrieved with a 1h private lesson covering 4 learning hours for an extra cost of 50€
